Help Students Start College with a Team

Don't let students start college alone.  Every Student Sent has assembled a broad coalition, including NNYM, so that every student can for the first time, start college with a team of friends and leaders they get to meet all Spring and Summer.  Prior connection has been demonstrated to reverse the 70% college faith drop-off and produce resilient disciples.  Now this is simple for youth leaders.

High school students love talking about their future.  What if all your juniors and seniors are checking out colleges and talking with other incoming students and leaders at their future college? They can find friends, roommates, and prepare with campus leaders for mission.  Students develop a vision to become disciples who make disciples, which they can also apply during high school.

If your church serves a college campus, you can also be listed on Every Student Sent so that incoming students find your church.

More students are coming to faith on college campuses than any time since the Jesus Movement.  Now your students can be a part of this, especially during the first weeks of college when the pre-Christian freshman are more open to new things and new friends than any time in their lives!

They will have an exciting vision of their future which you can cultivate in your group. A youth leader told us how the number of juniors and seniors in their group actually grew and attracted outsiders because the subject was relevant.  Video content in Courses helps spark discussion in your youth group meetings about being ready to hit the ground running in college with preparation for evangelism, discipleship, plus career and purpose. This includes exciting messages about mobilizing students through the platform from leaders like: Greg Stier, Brian Barcelona, Shane Pruitt, Olivia Williamson, and Yasmin Pierce.

Together we can stop the 70% college faith drop off and empower students to become disciple makers and preserve what you've poured into your students all these years.

Encourage recent grads to return from college during Christmas break to energize your youth group with stories of growth and leading others to faith.  This reality will help your teens start a student-led group in your high school.

Steps you can take:

Register on EveryStudentSent.org as a Youth Leader

Spread the message to students, parents and leaders via the Church Page.  There is a Graduation Kit included on that link to help with your planning.

Invite student leaders to become Mobilizers

Share with other youth leaders in your network.
