In Cory's Words:

I started to work with youth and teens at the age of 15 when I was involved with the Blue Ash Y.M.C.A. Teen Leadership Training in Cincinnati. I graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 1993 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts. Right after graduation I moved to Idaho to pursue Melissa Bradley.

It's been 20+ years since Melissa and I were married. We have four children: Collin, Camille, Corban and Caitlyn. Our Camille (K K as I called her) went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2014.

I have always found joy and excitement working with youth and teens; so much so that in 1997 I resigned from my position as space planner at Office Environment Company to work on a M.A. in Biblical Studies and Youth Ministry. I have professionally worked, taught & counseled teens and youth since June 2000.

Dare Mighty Things:

My favorite quote is by Theodore Roosevelt: "Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure… than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."

So, I dare mighty things now as the Idaho State Coordinator. NNYM is about developing networks to "Reach the Every": Every Student, Every School, because "Every" has a name! Every teenager in Idaho needs an opportunity to hear about the love of Jesus Christ and begin a relationship with Him.

Will you help EVERY youth in Idaho know and grow in Jesus?

  • No one can do it alone. Millions of American teenagers are lonely and despairing. They need to connect with Christ through mentors who care.

  • Youth ministry networks mobilize students and caring adults to bring hope to every youth through Jesus.

  • You can help multiply healthy youth ministry networks by partnering with Cory Freese.
